At Johnson we are acutely aware of our obligations to be a 'good corporate citizen' and to reduce our environmental footprint. Accordingly we champion the following initiatives:

We are a carbon neutral business and we offset our emissions by purchasing carbon credits from Climate Friendly Pty Ltd   We offset:

• All staff transportation - including travel to and from work, taxis and air travel
• Our couriers - we use cycle couriers for document and parcel delivery or we offset motor vehicle couriers by purchasing carbon credits

We use green electricity and switch off lights and electrical appliances when not in use

• Our office uses 100%Pure Energy from Energy Australia
• We use energy–efficient globes and systems throughout our office

We use environmentally friendly cleaning products where possible

We support several charitable organisations

We support recycling by

• recycling our cardboard, paper and using recycled paper products
• purchasing green office stationery products where possible
• we recycle our used printer cartridges through Planet Ark
• ensuring that the glass, cans and plastic which we use are recycled and reused wherever possible

We are committed to reducing the amount of paper we use

• by printing ‘2 pages per page, double-sided’ for our internal print requirements

• and by increasing the amount of documentation sent via email

We support the principles of Fairtrade and have introduced Fairtrade organic coffee & tea for staff, clients and guests. We purchase our Fairtrade products through Oxfam Australia
