The significant risk with senior appointments is the provision of inaccurate information or misrepresentation by a candidate. This may result in reputational damage, business distortion and unnecessary cost.

Mitigation

Through our VERIFY Due Diligence methodology we are able to:

  • Obtain additional information about individual career histories which might not previously have been revealed by the candidate
  • Explore how executives are perceived by former and existing colleagues, superiors, peers and subordinates
  • Assess market reputation of executives from advisors, investors, competitors and clients

Where comments and findings are contradictory, we make a point of gathering further comment until an accurate conclusion can be drawn on contentious points. We deliver a comprehensive report with verbatim comments (when appropriate).
