Jason Johnson is the Managing Partner and founder of Johnson. He works across the financial services, legal and consumer sectors.

Prior to establishing Johnson, Jason was a founding Partner of Highland Partners, one of the world's largest executive search firms and a Partner of TMP Worldwide Executive Search.

Jason has a distinguished track record of domestic and global search assignments for leading organisations including many ASX 50, NZX 20 and blue-chip multi-national companies. He has been responsible for the successful placement of senior executive roles including Chairman, CEO, COO, CFO, GM of Human Resources, General Counsel, Marketing Director and Divisional General Managers.

As one of the region’s leading search consultants in the legal and professional services sector, Jason has placed over 40 partner roles with law firms, accounting firms and consulting firms. He has also facilitated and consulted on a number of firm mergers and team acquisitions to their successful conclusion.

Prior to entering executive search, Jason was a corporate lawyer with Allen Allen & Hemsley one of Australia’s leading law firms. He completed his Bachelor of Economics (Major in Finance) and Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Macquarie University and studied for his Master of Laws at Sydney University.

Lynn Muirhead is a Partner at Johnson.  Lynn heads the Funds and Wealth Management, Real Estate and Private Equity practices and supports across the broader Financial Services Sector Group.

Prior to joining Johnson, Lynn headed the Funds Management practice at Highland Partners in Sydney where she led senior assignments (across asset classes and sectors) throughout the Asia Pacific region. She previously headed the Funds Management practice at The Rose Partnership in London. Her time at The Rose Partnership was preceded by her establishing and running an asset management search boutique in London.

Lynn possesses thirteen years financial services executive search expertise. She has led assignments up to CEO level and has completed mandates across all key asset classes and functional business areas. With experience of working across Europe and most recently in Asia Pacific, Lynn has a global and domestic outlook, adding value through her established offshore networks and reputation.

Tallis is a Partner at Johnson where he works across the full range of executive search and assessment disciplines.

Prior to joining Johnson, Tallis was a Consultant at Highland Partners, one of the world's largest executive search firms. Prior to this Tallis worked in recruitment for two and a half years.

Before moving to a career in executive recruitment, Tallis practiced as a solicitor at Mallesons Stephen Jaques in Sydney for four years, working in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Dispute Resolution groups.

Tallis spent two and a half years working in the banking industry in London before immigrating to Australia in early 1997. Prior to this, he practiced law in South Africa.
Tallis received a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Laws from The University of Natal in South Africa and is admitted as a solicitor in South Africa and NSW, Australia.

Amanda is a Partner at Johnson where she Heads the Investment Banking and CFO/Risk Practices. Prior to joining johnson, Amanda was the Director, Financial & Professional Services for Hudson Australia, and the National Practice Leader for Banking & Financial Services for Hudson in Australia.

Amanda has a career in the executive search and recruitment industry spanning ten years commencing as a recruiter in the Accounting Practice of Morgan & Banks.

Before moving to a career in executive recruitment, Amanda spent 12 years working with Ernst & Young’s Banking & Financial Services Practice in London, Canada and Sydney. Amanda immigrated to Australia in 1995. Amanda received a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Economics & Politics from Reading University, and is a Chartered Accountant.

Stuart leads the Consumer, Industrial and Manufacturing Practices at Johnson. Stuart has extensive knowledge and experience within his specialised sectors and has an outstanding track record in conducting senior search assignments throughout Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom. His experience includes the search and selection of positions at Managing Director, Country Manager, Chief Operating Officer, Group General Manager, General Manager and Vice President Sales & Marketing.

Prior to joining Johnson, Stuart spent three years establishing a leading executive search practice within the Ross Human Directions Group and before that was a Principal Consultant with a leading national executive search firm. Before moving into a career in executive search Stuart held several senior sales and marketing management roles with Australian and Australasian responsibilities at Brambles, Dun & Bradstreet, ORIX Australia and Baycorp Advantage.

Alison leads the Human Resources Practice for Johnson. Alison brings extensive experience in search & selection and talent acquisition outsourced solutions, spanning the UK and Europe, and for the last eight years the Australasian market place. She has established and led specialist HR recruitment businesses in both London and Sydney and has successfully delivered senior HR assignments to clients across a broad range of industries. In her role as IT&T Sector Director at Hudson she built a strong understanding of the challenges facing business leaders in that sector.

Before moving into a career in executive search, Alison spent six years working in human resources management for Harrods in the UK.
